All medical facilities are fully accessible for disabled patients. The building has a lift to the 1st floor and is fully accessible for wheelchair or mobility scooter users, and there is a disabled toilet. Parking spaces are available for disabled patients. The practice uses a self check in screen and patients are notified of their appointments via a large screen in the waiting room.

When we are closed

If you have an urgent medical problem outside working hours, telephone 111 this NHS service is to be used when a situation is less urgent than 999.  NHS 111 will provide  information regarding access to medical care.  When you contact NHS 111 details will be taken down and you will directed to the appropriate team who can offer advice, assessment and treatment either over the telephone, at a centre and only if necessary as a home visit.

Non-urgent advice: Extended Access Appointments

The Practice also offers appointments outside of our core contractual hours, these appointments are for those patients who find it difficult to attend the Practice during normal working hours – there are a range of appointments with both Doctors and Nurses starting from 07:30 am up until 7:00 pm.

Non-urgent advice: Primary Care (Walk-In) Centres

There is an NHS Primary Care Centre based in Katie Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham. It is open 7 days a week 8:00am – 8:00pm 365 days a year. They can offer a range of services, if you are unable to attend your own doctor, in order to access this service you need to telephone beforehand.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
